2018 NCCU International Summer School (NCCU ISS) – Academic, Language, and Excursions

Start here to learn about Taiwan with an Asian and global outlook at National Chengchi University (NCCU). 2018 NCCU ISS provides you with both intensive Mandarin Chinese learning and 10 English-taught Academic courses in the fields of Management, Social Sciences, and Humanities, focusing on the aspects of Taiwan, China, and East Asia. In addition to the academic and language benefits, the program provides you with several well designed excursions as well; you will be taken to the most significant cultural and historical attractions in northern Taiwan. So make your 2018 summer meaningful and unforgettable, come to NCCU to enhance your knowledge in international business, culture, economics, politics, history, Mandarin Chinese, and give yourself an opportunity to meet and interact with international students from all corners of the world with diversified cultural and social background.


Program Information

1. Program Selection

(1) Program selection: 4-week Chinese Language Study Program or 4-week English-taught Program (at least 2 courses, including excursions)

(2) Without timetable conflicts, students can select both Chinese Language Study and 1 or 2 English-taught courses (no excursion arrangement)
.

(3) Selecting English-taught courses will be offered an early bird discount (10% off) of tuition. To have this discount, the deadline for the payment and uploading the required documents is March 30. Please click here for discount information (English-taught courses only).

*Each English-taught course’s maximum number of student is 35. If a course enrollment is less than 8, the course is subject to cancellation, and students will be informed to re-select another course.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Excursions

A variety of excursions (July 12, 19, 26) will take you to explore the most significant cultural and historical attractions in Taiwan, such as Taipei 101, National Palace Museum, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, etc. Excursions' dates and spots are subjects to change. *Excursions (USD 150) are calculated with English-taught courses as a program package. If students choose not to attend, there will be no refund.
